Lets start with the heel cup on the footbed, which holds the heel in a neutral position, reducing stress on the forefoot, as opposed to the raised heel seen on most current footwear. The raised heel can result in conditions like metatsalgia, which we’ll discuss later on. The footbed also includes a toe bar, which allows the toes to grip the footbed, and combined with the flexibility of the sole, permits the foot to experience essential exercise. Cork and jute, two natural materials, are incorporated into the construction of the footbed.
